Talent Management Assistant

Talent management company representing film, TV, and theater actors, writers, and directors located in New York City is seeking a full-time assistant. This is a fast-paced environment and the candidate should be able to maintain a calm, professional manner while juggling multiple tasks at once. Candidate should be comfortable answering phones and interfacing with clients on a regular basis. The ideal individual will possess exemplary written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and an upbeat personality. We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated, dedicated, and eager individual. A bachelor’s degree is required and prior entertainment or talent agency experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct a high volume of phone calls
  • Interact with actors, directors, producers, and executives via phone and email
  • Schedule meetings, manage heavy calendars
  • Create itineraries
  • Effectively interact and communicate with all levels of employees
  • Handle pressure in a professional manner
  • Additional responsibilities as they occur

Qualifications:

  • Excellent problem solver
  • Ability to make sound decisions quickly; use practical approaches
  • Must be computer and tech savvy
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task
  • The ideal candidate will have proficiency in graphic design
