
Student Assistant Internship (Integrated Eligibility System), Ref# 9465
ITS will not offer permanent employment to any candidate unless the candidate provides documentation that they are authorized to accept work in the United States on a permanent basis. Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen or foreign national eligible to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be currently attending a New York State college, university or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State
- Must have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year’s worth of academic credits over a more extended period of time may qualify part-time students) OR currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
- Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or equivalent to a C.
Duties Description
Under the Operations team, the position will assist with the development and maintenance of critical documentation and presentation required for program success. This position will play a key role in translating complex program schedules, timelines, milestones, and updates into clear and concise PowerPoint presentations, written reports, and formal letters. These materials will be used to support project status reports, stakeholder updates, and other essential communications. The intern will work closely with team members to ensure that all documentation accurately reflects program objectives, progress, and priorities. This support is critical for maintaining consistency, transparency, and alignment across internal teams and external stakeholders, including state and federal partners.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
• Assist with the development, maintenance, and design of PowerPoint content to relay critical program insights to program partners.
• Ensure all documentation meets program standards for readability and formatting.
• Contribute to key stakeholders' meetings through documenting detailed notes for program leadership.
• Assist with communication for stakeholders.
• Track accurate timelines, due dates, and as needed required documentation.
• Assist different program teams is overall design and develop of certain applications such as surveys and outreach initiatives.
• Assist with internal program communications and employee engagement materials.
