Leasing Coordinator

We're looking to build the best teams possible with highly motivated and engaged employees. We have an exciting opportunity for a Leasing Coordinator to join The Douglaston Companies. In this role you'll alternate between front-of-office leasing support, assisting prospects and residents, and providing essential administrative and operational assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our leasing offices. You'll gain valuable exposure to a prestigious portfolio of luxury properties while collaborating with top-tier professionals and engaging with an elite clientele. Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Meet and greet potential clients and tenants.
- Answer multiple phone lines with a friendly and professional demeanor, while building and maintaining positive relationships with prospects, residents and the broker community.
- Respond to incoming email inquiries on a timely basis and schedule tours.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all leasing activities and communications.
- Maintain and update multiple leasing reports (daily, weekly and monthly).
- Assist with client services.
- Assist with collecting initial rent payments and lease execution.
- Assist with negotiating lease renewals and execution.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by mangement
Qualifications
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- 1-2 years of leasing experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent phone and e-mail etiquette.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
- Knowledge of the luxury leasing market
- Utilize property management software: Yardi, Rent Café and Funnel.
- Follow Fair Housing laws and company leasing policies at all times.
- Prior office experience preferred.
- Microsoft certification a plus

Salary Range:
$55,000-65,000k/ yr
