Job Description
Substitute teachers will provide coverage for Colorado High School Charter teachers when they are out. Substitute teachers have the opportunity to work with students on a part‐time or full‐time basis, depending on the needs of the school. Key responsibilities include: maintaining high expectations of every student, challenging students to develop critical thinking skills and creating a safe space in which students can work and grow.
Becoming a substitute teacher is a popular pathway into the teaching profession. It’s an ideal way to gain some real‐world experience in the classroom.
