Residential Services Coordinator
Position Summary
The full-time Residential Services Coordinator is a Qualified Professional in the field of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities who oversees the day-to-day operations and compliance in ASNC’s residential home setting. You would be responsible for the supervision of the Autism Support Professionals who provide direct support, coordination of services, and development of treatment plans for residents with Autism Spectrum Disorder that will enable them to increase their independence and self-direction in their home and community to lead fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities
- Develop care plans for each resident to address service needs identified through direct observation and review of assessments, using available resources and natural supports, and strong collaboration with the residential team
- Oversee the ongoing review, renewal, and reauthorization of services as needed to maintain all necessary supports and services
- Manage Autism Support Professionals (direct care staff) through oversight, support, training, and clear delegation of responsibilities to ensure that services are implemented as indicated on the treatment plan and are aligned with the scope of the authorized services
- Collaborate with the Regional Recruiter to identify and onboard direct care providers for residents
- Determine staffing schedules to meet the needs of residents and adhere to budgetary guidelines
- Organize arrangement and access to medical, dental, and other health services for each resident, and ensure proper tracking of health information, which includes close oversight of Medication Administration Records
- Ensure home is well-maintained and that all services are provided with commitment to the health, safety and well-being of each person
- Apply working knowledge of North Carolina’s system of services for individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities through the Innovations Waiver to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines
