Wealth Management Intern

Firm Description:

Chilton Trust (“CTC”) is a private wealth management firm launched in 2010 by Richard L. Chilton Jr.  CTC offers full-service, bespoke private wealth management services, including asset allocation advice, management of separate portfolio accounts in equity and fixed income, open architecture manager research, trust and estate planning and family office services.  CTC has offices in New York, Palm Beach, Naples, Connecticut, Charlotte, Charlottesville and Delaware.

Position Description: 

Our goal is to provide intern candidates with an experience to learn and understand more about wealth management and how different groups work together to serve our clients.  The eight week internship will provide a rotational program through departments exposing candidates to investments, operations, family office, client service and relationship management. 

 

Candidate Description:

  • In process of completing a bachelor’s degree program (rising seniors best suited for this internship).
  • Demonstrated interest in financial services and wealth management through coursework and/or prior internship experience.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills, organizational skills, attention to urgency and detail, and deadline oriented.
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work successfully both independently and in a team environment.
  • Energetic, dynamic, highly motivated, ethical & mature, with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
