Cross-Categorical Special Education Teacher
Rome Corners Intermediate is seeking a full-time Cross-Categorical Special Education Teacher to cover a FMLA leave for 6th grade.
The ideal candidate will be;
- familiar with and competent in analyzing behavior and developing intervention plans
- able to support sensory and regulation needs
- knowledgeable and familiar with all disability categories
- able to communicate and collaborate with other teachers and support staff
- willing to co-teach and able to modify curriculum
- experienced in PBIS, restorative practices, and have knowledge of educational equity
A cross-categorical special education license is preferred.
