POSITION:                 Tutor Advocate (PT-Day and/or Evening)

 

 

ASSIGNMENT:          Family Education Outreach Program

 

 

SITE/BUILDING:       Roanoke House

 

 

LOCATION:               Riverhead, NY

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:               

  • New York State Teaching Assistant Certification
  • New York State fingerprint clearance
  • Bilingual in Spanish    

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide instructional support and advocacy for Spanish-speaking children of agricultural workers in school, virtually, and/or at home
  • Communicate with parents, staff, and the Family Education Outreach Programs office
  • Participate in staff meetings

 

 

START DATE:           Ongoing for the 2025-2026 school year

 

 

SALARY:                   $24.00/hour
