NYC Service is recruiting the next generation of public servants to join our Spring 2026 Resident Volunteer Corps program!

Join NYC’s Resident Volunteer Corps to gain real experience, grow your skills, and make a difference where it matters most — right in your community. This spring, contribute your time to essential City projects at agencies like:

 

  • The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
  • NYC Health and Hospitals
  • The Department of Cultural Affairs
  • The City Commission on Human Rights
  • The Civic Engagement Commission
  • The Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs
  • Sanitation Foundation
  • The Mayor’s Office of Information Services
  • NYC Public Schools
  • And more!

Requirements:

 

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old and live in NYC.
  • Applicants must be able to contribute 10-20 hours per week, during business hours, from February 2026 – May 2026.
