Evan Bernardin Productions (EBP) is a theatrical general management company working across Broadway, Off-Broadway, touring, and immersive projects. EBP supports artists and organizations through strategic planning, budgeting, administrative support, and operational management, helping productions develop from early concept to full realization.
Position Overview
The General Management Intern will work closely with the EBP management team to support the day-to-day operations of multiple theatrical projects. This role is designed for individuals interested in learning the business, administrative, and organizational aspects of professional theatre production and working in the general/company management field. The intern will gain hands-on experience in general management tasks and workflows, including: budgeting, contracting, company management support, and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and tracking of budgets, financial reports, and expense reconciliations
Support the drafting, organizing, and processing of contracts, agreements, and other production paperwork
Conduct industry research (venues, tour routing, labor rules, budgets, etc.) as needed for various projects
Provide administrative support including scheduling, document management, and meeting preparation
Assist with company management tasks such as updating cast/crew information, payroll support, and onboarding materials
Assist in all developmental readings/workshops
Communicate with creative teams, producers, and vendors as directed
Support day-to-day office operations and organizational systems
Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and problem-solving
Qualifications
Strong interest in theatrical management, producing, or arts administration
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office (Sheets/Excel skills a plus)
Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn
Prior theatrical administrative or production experience is helpful but not required
Internship Details
25–30 hours/week
In person at our Hell's Kitchen office - we generally work between the hours of 10am-6pm
Start Date: January 6, 2026
Compensation: $17 per hour
