IT Support Technician

We are a Delaware County based IT Services Company and we have an immediate opening for an IT Support Technician I. We are seeking an ambitious, hard-working IT Professional who can own the responsibility of providing first-class technical support to our clients located in the Philadelphia and 5 County region, South Jersey and New Castle County, DE.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 1 Technician who aspires to expand their knowledge and growth in the areas of Network Administration, Server Administration, Microsoft Exchange/365, and Cisco appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide first line response for users requiring assistance with information technology issues and problems.

· Respond to requests for technical assistance by phone or email and logging the issue in a help desk management system.

· Troubleshoot and solve PC issues remotely as well as on-site visits to our clients when an issue cannot be resolved remotely. This includes both MAC and Windows Operating systems.

· Track issues to resolution and update the internal knowledge base.

· Escalate more involved problems to the appropriate Network and Application Support Teams.

· Act as a liaison between customers and technical escalation teams.

· Configure Macs, PCs and Laptops for deployment to users at Headquarters as well as satellite locations.

· Management of all systems usernames and passwords, MS Exchange and 365 (setup, and troubleshooting).

· Smartphone/Tablet setup and troubleshooting.

· Setup and Troubleshoot network printer issues.

· Train end-users how to resolve simple issues on their own.

Technical Experience Required:

· At least one year's worth of experience supporting business client PCs and Laptops.

· At least one year's worth of experience with phone support.

· At least one year's worth of experience with providing technical support with Windows 7 and later Operating Systems.

· At least one year's worth of experience installing and configuring Microsoft Office products, especially Outlook.

Non-Technical Requirements:

· You must be passionate about delivering outstanding service to our customers.

· You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing to adapt to the technology needs of our clients.

· Ability to effectively communicate with Business Managers and Owners.

· Ability to provide technical expertise in a manner that is understandable to a non-technical person.

· Must have reliable transportation.

· You will use your own vehicle to travel to client sites within a 1-hour radius of the office.

Desired Experience:

· 1-4years of Microsoft Server Administration Support (Creating, Modifying User Ids, Passwords, etc.).

· 1-4 years of Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 Administration Support.

· 1 year of MacOS Support.
