Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and professional Field Marketing Associate to join our team. This is an excellent role for a recent college graduate looking to launch a career in technology marketing and event execution.

 

The primary responsibility of this role is to represent Atakama at industry conferences, tradeshows, and partner events throughout the United States. The ideal candidate is comfortable traveling frequently, enjoys meeting new people, and is excited to serve as the face of Atakama at high-visibility events.

 

When not traveling, the Field Marketing Associate will assist with marketing initiatives including campaign support, event follow-ups, digital content execution, prospect engagement activities, and administrative support across the marketing organization.

 

This is a remote role with significant growth potential. High performers will have opportunities to expand into marketing strategy, partner engagement, demand generation, and field marketing responsibilities as the company scales.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend and staff Atakama’s booth and presence at 40+ conferences and events per year across the U.S.
  • Represent Atakama professionally with prospects, partners, vendors, and industry leaders
  • Coordinate event logistics including travel, booth setup/breakdown, promotional materials, shipping, and on-site execution
  • Collect and organize leads generated from events; assist with follow-up campaigns and lead handoffs
  • Support the marketing team with day-to-day activities including content updates, digital initiatives, email programs, and social media efforts
  • Assist in tracking event ROI, metrics, and outcomes to support budget and planning strategy
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and be able to speak confidently about Atakama’s platform and value proposition
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and channel partnerships

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; enjoys speaking with new people
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 60%+) within the U.S.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple simultaneous tasks
  • Self-starter who thrives in a remote work environment with minimal oversight
  • Professional presence and reliability when representing Atakama externally
  • Interest in cybersecurity, SaaS, and technology is a plus (training provided)
