Summer 2026
Internship Program:
AMG is seeking a summer intern for its Client Solutions team, based out of Stamford, Connecticut. This summer program is a 10-week paid internship from June 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026. This internship allows students to be integrated with AMG employees on various tasks and projects within a professional environment. Interns will gain a hands-on understanding of the financial services industry and build familiarity with all that our company has to offer, including the extraordinary culture, core values and unique services. This program is a great way to encounter real life experience with a reputable company.
Objective:
The Client Solutions intern will assume challenging project assignments to support the growth of the business while establishing important relationships with experienced professionals. The intern will gain exposure to senior Client Solutions and Capital Formation leaders and learn about the investment management business.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with various distribution teams within the organization such as: Sales Distribution Team (Field Sales and Strategic Relationship Group), Sales Mgt, Sales Operations, Marketing and Business Intelligence
- Understand the business strategy and assist the team in reaching goals and objectives
- Work with Sales Management to complete projects and meet established deadlines
- Provide project and administrative support
- Create PowerPoint presentations on relevant topics within the asset management industry
- Interact with external and internal associates both at the staff and executive level
- Run Morningstar Competitor Analysis reports
- Leverage data and service providers to assist team with research and lead generation
- Assist with meeting planning and preparation
- Support the Sales Team with third party vendor orders (literature, logo gifts, etc.)
- Ability to study for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam
- Collaborate with other interns on a Capstone Project to present at the end of the internship
Skills and Attributes:
- Solid quantitative, analytical, and writing skills
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to learn and be challenged
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Must be able to prioritize, plan and take initiative
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must currently be pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a major, minor or concentration in Business Administration, Sales or Finance
- Strong academic record, with minimum 3.3 overall GPA
- Rising sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply
- Available for the entirety of the 10-week program
- Demonstrated interest in the investment management industry
- Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
