Interns will work cooperatively to instruct students of varying grade levels in natural science and environmental conservation classes and to facilitate experiences on our high ropes challenge and low ropes initiative courses. They will also be part of the summer rental experience, checking renters in and out, providing information. Interns participate in summer collaboration programs with other organizations. The internship can be tailored to the interests and needs of the individual.

Clear Lake Education Center is located 75 miles southeast of Marquette, on 22 acres of the Hiawatha National Forest. Housing at the Center is provided throughout the internship. When the intern has time off, they can explore nearby Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Seney National Wildlife Refuge, and the thousands of acres of National Forest.
