Associatiate Operation Manager

 

POSITION SUMMARY

CKfoods in Seattle is looking forfor a supply chain and warehouse manager to lead the operations team and oversee the operational excellence of the company.management You will be working closely with the senior management team on almost all areas on business operation, which will provide excellent and various experience for someone wanting to get into supply chain and management after graduation.  and work towards improving operational performance and efficiency. 

Core Responsibilities 

Operation: 

  • Manage a team of operation associates including delivery drivers and warehouse staff
  • Resolve daily delivery related issues and coordinate driver shift schedule 
  • Report any truck maintenance related issues and work with management to coordinate repair orders
  • Manage driver performance, set expectation and follow-up
  • On-going process improvement project

Warehouse

  • Assist with weekly purchase order, utilizing forecasting tools
  • Assist with inventory management: cycle count, cooler/freezer rotations, report aged inventory, improve product turns, and diagnose inventory discrepancy
  • Develop, monitor and follow through inventory, margin, driver efficiency KPIs 

Purchasing:

  • Assist with purchase entry, production planning, quality report, customer and vendor returns 
  • Help with other tasks as needed 

 

Skills Needed 

  • Strong in Problem Solving Skills, able to realize problem, identify root cause, and create an efficient process to solve problems 
  • Excellent time management and proven track record to manage multiple business area
  • Great communicator and able to manage people with performance issue.  
  • Utilize excel and AI tools to run weekly management report, and build new process 
  • Fluent in English 

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 year supply chain management, warehouse, logistic, management or related experience
  •  
  • Food service background preferred
  • Secondary education background will be a bonus

Compensation 

  • Pay $23/H if part time. TBD salary if full time 
  • Employee discount on food products 

Time:

  • Part Time: 20 – 30 hours per week from Monday -Friday, start in the morning for 4-6 hours a day 
  • With potential to grow into full time role in future as company grows
