Analyst, Performance Marketing

Our business has two distinct sides, and you’ll work on both!:

  • Performance Marketing:
    We advise on growth strategy and manage full-funnel campaigns across Meta, Google, Amazon, and more. We drive efficient, scalable customer acquisition campaigns, collaborating with founders, internal marketing teams, and designers.
  • Performance Publishing:
    Through the Digest Network, our portfolio of publishers (The Customer Digest, Holistic Digest, The Consumer Journal, and Motherful), we match high-intent Paid Social, Paid Search, and Affiliate traffic with trusted editorial reviews.

This is a unique opportunity to join a business with significant MRR and noteworthy clients. The team is small: you’re strategic and love to get your hands dirty.

About You:

We’re looking for someone quantitative, resourceful, and creative. You want to work at a dynamic early-stage business with high upside and growth potential. You’re business-minded and possess the analytical and creative talents to formulate growth strategy, craft high-impact copy, guide creative, and execute on ad platforms.

 

Location:

Flexible (US only) - we’re fully remote, with 2 in-person off-sites per year!

 

The Skill Set:

  • BA/BS from a top university
  • 1-3 years work experience
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Hustler who can multitask and execute independently
  • Experience with Microsoft and Google productivity tools (Excel, Sheets, Slides)
  • Experience with AI productivity tools (GPT, Gemini)
  • Experience with design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva) a plus

 

Responsibilities:

Performance Marketing

  • Execute, monitor, and optimize Paid Media campaigns across Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google (Search, YouTube, Display), Amazon, and others.
  • Analyze performance data to improve campaign efficiency and business growth.
  • Advise on conversion funnel optimization, landing page performance, and split testing in partnership with client teams.
  • Write and refine ad copy and creative briefs for static, motion, and UGC assets.
    Collaborate with designers to develop and test high-performing creative.

Performance Publishing

  • Produce articles using AI-assisted writing tools, and coordinate with creators, designers, and brand partners to bring content to life.
  • Ideate and test high-potential review formats and content angles that align with brand goals and audience intent.
  • Using ads platforms and third-party tools, report on article and content performance across the Digest Network.

Client & Internal Communication

  • Assist with internal business operations including client reporting, project management, and business development initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with client teams to share insights and recommendations.
  • As you build trust with the team, interface directly with Founders, Heads of Growth, and Marketing Leads at high-growth startups.

 

Compensation:

  • Annual Salary: $70,000 + bonus (10% target)
