Business Development and Operations Intern

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Business Development & Operations Intern to support the growth and execution of WEALTH’s programming, partnerships, and internal operations. This role is ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, highly organized, and excited about building community at the intersection of health, innovation, and leadership.

You will work closely with WEALTH leadership and gain hands-on experience in:

Community-driven business development

Partnerships and sponsorship strategy

Event operations and execution

Early-stage organizational building

This is a high-impact role with real ownership—not a “coffee-run” internship.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Partnerships

Support outreach to potential partners, sponsors, and collaborators across the health ecosystem

Assist with partnership research, outreach tracking, and follow-ups

Help develop pitch materials, sponsorship decks, and partnership proposals

Maintain and organize CRM/contact lists

Operations & Program Support

Assist with planning and execution of WEALTH events (virtual and in-person)

Coordinate logistics including guest lists, RSVPs, speaker communications, and run-of-show materials

Support internal workflows, documentation, and operational processes

Help streamline tools, templates, and systems as WEALTH scales

Community & Strategic Initiatives

Support community engagement initiatives and member communications

Conduct research on industry trends, potential speakers, and emerging leaders

Assist with special projects related to chapter growth, membership models, or new programming

Who You Are

Passionate about women’s leadership, health innovation, and community-building

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable

Comfortable juggling multiple projects in a fast-moving environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through

Curious, thoughtful, and excited to learn

Ideal Background (Not Required)

Student or recent graduate in business, public health, healthcare, policy, law, life sciences, or a related field

Interest in startups, venture capital, healthcare innovation, or community-led organizations

Experience with events, partnerships, marketing, or operations is a plus
