What we want
The Student Assistant, under general supervision, provides administrative andcustomer service support for the Coastal Bend Health Education Center in CorpusChristi, TX.
What you need to know
Salary: $10.00/hr.
Required Education and Experience:
• High school Diploma or equivalent.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of confidentiality laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
Essential Duties/Tasks:
• Performs general office duties, including but not limited to: answering/screeningphone calls, taking messages, and transferring calls to the appropriate staff member.
• Prepares packets for diabetes education classes, programs, and presentations.
• Contacts current and past class participants to remind them to attend upcomingclasses/preregister, attend follow-up visits, or reschedule as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
