Position Overview
Telra is seeking a Technology Associate to join a growing Technology Department committed to innovation, operational excellence, and building a future-ready educational environment. This role supports daily technology operations while contributing to forward-thinking initiatives that enhance instructional delivery, operational efficiency, and system reliability.
The Technology Associate will work closely with the Senior IT Manager to support staff and students, manage devices and systems, and help implement modern technology solutions across the school.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Operations
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for staff and students
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Assist with classroom technology setup and support
- Support printers, interactive displays, and instructional devices
Device & Asset Management
- Assist with laptop and device deployment, tracking, and lifecycle management
- Maintain accurate IT inventory records
- Support device repairs, replacements, and loaner management
- Assist with device configuration using Microsoft Intune
Systems & Platform Support
- Support Microsoft 365 user accounts, permissions, and licensing
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding workflows for students and staff
- Support SIS and educational platform integrations
- Document procedures and support knowledge base development
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Assist with automation projects (Power Automate, Power Apps exposure)
- Support new technology rollouts and pilot programs
- Collaborate on process improvements to increase efficiency and reliability
- Participate in department planning and future-state initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or educational technology
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of Windows devices and Microsoft 365
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in K–12 or charter school environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune or device management platforms
- Experience with ticketing systems and asset management tools
- Interest in instructional technology or EdTech innovation
- Exposure to Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate)
