Engineering Intern

Collaborate with all members of the product development team including mechanical engineers, product managers, operations, sales, and clients.

Participate in all engineering related stages of product development:

  • Project kickoff & ideation
  • Patent research & alternate solutions
  • Conceptual sketches using Wacom tablets
  • Conceptual 3d models using SketchUp
  • Engineered 3d parts and assemblies using SolidWorks
  • Internal design review
  • Technical drawings & specifications
  • Prototyping & analysis
  • Writing product assembly or installation instructions using InDesign
  • Proper organization of engineering data in 3dEXPERIENCE and Dropbox

Work for up to 40 hours per week at our Waukesha office.

 

Qualifications:

Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Strong mechanical design skills and knowledge of engineering principles.

Able to listen, learn, and think outside the textbook.

Ready to build, test, investigate, and research.

Able to effectively communicate with people from a variety of different backgrounds and experiences.
