Downing Student Union Graduate Assistantship Building Manager- Spring 2026

• Begin date 2/1/26
• One 3 hour class covered per semester in addition to a 10 month stipend (renewed by academic year).
• Assists in creation, implementation, and supervision of the Student Union.
• Required to work/ participate in Student Union A/B weekend management rotation
• Serve on campus and departmental committees if so desire
• Supervision of DSU student staff
• Attend Student Union staff meetings
• Holiday and Late-night hours required (exception Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s, etc.)
• Assist with building set up
• Maintains up to a 20 hour work week
• Basic AV production knowledge
• Engages in duties otherwise assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• In a degree seeking graduate program (Student Affairs, Recreation, or related degree preferred)
• Demonstrated programming experience
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Must be able to create and maintain a student-oriented environment
