The Technical Recruiter is responsible for identifying, sourcing, screening, and placing IT professionals across a wide range of technical skill sets. This role requires a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven agency environment. Recruiters work closely with Account Executives to match top talent with client needs while building strong candidate pipelines and long-term relationships.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, source, and screen IT professionals (software engineers, data analysts, cloud engineers, cybersecurity specialists, etc.) for client roles
  • Develop innovative sourcing techniques to engage and interview a high volume of candidates by phone and in person
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to assess candidate suitability for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire positions
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including outreach, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates and internal teams to manage interview scheduling, prep/debrief calls, pay/benefits discussions, and pre-employment steps
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future client needs
  • Leverage relationships with candidates, clients, and industry contacts to generate leads and referrals
  • Conduct relationship management, pay discussions, and performance oversight for contract employees on assignment
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members when needed
  • Partner with leadership and sales teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and successful placements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong relationship-building skills, including comfort with lunch meetings and on-site client visits
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly competitive, results-driven, and process-oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
