Unpaid Police Intern

The Middleton Police Department is accepting applications for our 2026 summer internship program.   We offer a rewarding program that provides work experience that will complement academic degrees and help provide a foundation of knowledge as you enter into the law enforcement field.

As an intern, you will be able to experience and observe the day-to-day operations and functions of the Middleton Police Department.  In addition, you will be able to support the department and its employees in the performance of authorized functions, as well as learn and observe general law enforcement methods and assess the police profession firsthand. 

Qualifications for our internship program include being at least 18 years of age, enrolled in an accredited college or university, and meet applicable Law Enforcement Standards Board employment requirements.
