High School Faculty
Ezra Academy is a rigorous, mission-driven high school seeking highly qualified educators across multiple disciplines to join our faculty. We welcome applications from experienced teachers, graduate students, adjunct faculty, and professionals interested in meaningful teaching and mentorship.
Current Areas of Interest Include:
Social Studies: History, Political Science, Law, Psychology, Economics, Sociology
Hebrew Language & Judaic Studies
Science: Biology, Chemistry, General Science, Health & Applied Sciences
Innovative Electives: Interdisciplinary, applied, or inquiry-based courses aligned with faculty expertise (e.g., law, ethics, public policy, behavioral science, research methods, business, health, communications)
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction appropriate for high school students
Facilitate thoughtful discussion and inquiry-based learning
Support students’ academic growth, critical thinking, and skill development
Collaborate with department colleagues and administration
Provide feedback and assessment aligned with course goals
Serve as a mentor and role model within a values-driven school community
Qualifications
Advanced coursework or degree in a relevant field (Master’s or PhD preferred; ABD welcome)
Strong content knowledge and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
Experience teaching, tutoring, presenting, or mentoring students (formal classroom experience welcomed but not required)
Interest in working with motivated high school students in a rigorous academic setting
Commitment to professionalism, collaboration, and educational excellence
