Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Fractional CEO/COO to provide executive leadership across two core business lines:
our Site Management Organization (SMO) supporting clinical research operations, and
our digital health platform, focused on scalable, compliant healthcare solutions.
This role is designed for a proven operator who can step in quickly, bring clarity and structure, and drive execution without slowing momentum. The ideal candidate has deep operational judgment, comfort navigating regulated environments, and the ability to balance strategy with real-world execution.
Expectations & Time Commitment
Fractional engagement averaging 10 hours per week
Flexible scheduling with availability for executive check-ins and priority initiatives
Immediate start, with the ability to ramp quickly.
Compensation structured and paid on a quarterly basis
Core Responsibilities
Executive & Operational Leadership
Provide senior leadership oversight across clinical operations and digital health initiatives
Ensure alignment between operational execution, technology, and business strategy
Support leadership decision-making with clear, actionable recommendations
Site Management Organization Oversight
Oversee multi-site clinical research operations at an executive level
Ensure operational readiness, consistency, and scalability across sites
Support audit preparedness, quality standards, and sponsor-facing operations
Digital Health Platform Oversight
Provide executive oversight of the digital health platform’s operational and strategic direction
Support system governance, interoperability decisions, and scalability planning
Ensure alignment between technology development and clinical/regulatory requirements
Governance, Risk & Growth Support
Identify operational, regulatory, and execution risks early and proactively
Support process clarity and documentation without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy
Assist with long-term growth planning, partnerships, and platform expansion
Qualification
Minimum 5 years of executive-level
experience in operations, healthcare, clinical research, digital health, or adjacent regulated industries
Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-functional organizations
Strong judgment in regulated or compliance-driven environments
Comfortable operating in a fractional, high-impact role
Ability to start immediately and contribute from day one
Compensation Structure
We want to respect your time while aligning incentives for long-term value creation.
$1,000 monthly retainer, paid quarterly
1.0% equity, vesting over 24 months (with a short cliff)
Milestone-based cash or equity bonuses, tied to clearly defined outcomes such as:
Operational or audit readiness milestones
Sponsor-facing or enterprise readiness
Platform governance or scalability benchmarks
Other mutually agreed deliverables
This structure is designed to provide meaningful upside while ensuring you are compensated consistently for your contributions.
Role Evolution
As the organization grows, raises capital, and the scope of this role expands, compensation and responsibilities may be revisited by mutual agreement.
