Communications Specialist

Maryland Environmental Service (MES) has an opening for a Communications Specialist located at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. This position is responsible for assisting with activities aimed at building and maintaining a positive public image for MES and supporting the creation of effective internal and external communications aligning with the agency mission, vision, and goals.

Estimated Pay Range:

$55,256.40 - $75,978.12

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field from an accredited institution, along with a minimum of one year of experience working in the communications field (can include internships). Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.

Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
