Technical Solutions Architect

Location: Hackensack, NJ 

Reports to: Technical Solutions Manager

 

Role Summary: You are the strategic bridge between our clients and our Automation Team. You own the technical design of customer implementations. You will partner with Project Managers to validate feasibility, translate business goals into rigorous Functional Specifications, and ensure the final build meets our quality standards before it reaches the client. 
 

Responsibilities 

  • Solution Design: Partner with Project Managers to validate technical feasibility and design scalable workflows.
  • Specification (The Blueprint): Write detailed Functional Specifications (FSDs) including data mapping, API triggers, and logic rules for the Automation Team to build.
  • Build Oversight & QA: Brief the Automation Team on requirements and perform "Sanity Checks" on their work to ensure it matches your design.
  • UAT Leadership: Design User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, lead client testing sessions, and triage reported defects (Bug vs. Scope Gap).
  • Admin Enablement: Train client System Administrators on backend logic and maintenance.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned. 

 

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Experience: 3+ years in Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or Implementation for B2B SaaS companies.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to read data structures (JSON, SQL, XML) and define complex logic (If/Then workflows). Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations. 
  • Documentation: Elite documentation skills (FRDs) and proficiency in diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Visio).
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, build models, and communicate insights effectively. 
  • People Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.  Capable of pushing back on inefficiencies and guiding clients toward best practices.
  • Organization Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
     

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Understanding of product development processes in apparel, footwear, accessories, lifestyle products, and/or supply chain and merchandising workflows.
  • Ability to read, write, or QA code/scripts (e.g., Python, Javascript) is a strong plus.
