Town of Jackson, Wyoming Engineering Division Intern

The Town of Jackson, Wyoming Public Works Department / Engineering Division is accepting applications for the position of Engineering Intern for the summer of 2026. The duration of the term for this position may vary but is typically 35 hours per week at $19/hour for approximately 12 weeks. 

Depending on skills/experience, duties include but are not limited to: filing; scanning documents and digital filing; inspecting construction sites and water/sewer utility connections; reviewing, issuing, and enforcing public right-of-way permits; traffic monitoring and data collection; PROW permitting; contractor wrangling; SilverStar Fiber installation observation; sign identification; capital construction field support; assisting Streets Division/other Public Works crews; acquiring GIS data points; updating water/sewer systems GIS data to reflect recent capital projects. We prefer a college student working toward an engineering degree.  

Housing not provided with internship.
