Events Intern
The Events Department at Atlas Network is actively searching for a detail-oriented and organized individual with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and a strong desire to learn about the operations of a nonprofit organization. Atlas Network is dedicated to supporting free-market, libertarian think tanks in both the United States and abroad through our Coach, Compete, Celebrate model. This model encompasses providing our partner organizations with world-class training opportunities, funding options, and hosting events worldwide.
Our Events team is responsible for planning and executing exceptional events year-round across five different continents. This team collaborates with on-site vendors, manages travel itineraries for staff and partners, and designs programming for our Regional Liberty Forums and flagship event, Liberty Forum and Freedom Dinner.
Duties can include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with the event planning team to help plan and organize events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and social gatherings
- Assist in identifying and coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and service providers required for events, such as caterers, audio-visual technicians, and decorators
- Help manage event logistics, including venue selection and arrangements for transportation and accommodation
- Assist in managing guest lists, registrations, and RSVPs. Provide information and support to event attendees as needed
- Assist in creating event marketing materials, such as flyers, social media posts, and email campaigns
- Be present at events to provide on-site support, coordinate with staff, and address any issues that may arise during the event
- Maintain event files, records, and documentation, including budgets, invoices, and post-event evaluations
- Gather feedback from event attendees and team members to identify areas for improvement in future events
