Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00/hr (Commensurate with experience) + Commission Potential

Type: Full-Time (35–40 hours per week)

About the Role

Employee Plans Services (EPS) is seeking a high-caliber Business Operations Manager to serve as the primary point of contact and right hand to our President. This is a critical role designed for a professional who thrives on organization, discretion, and operational excellence.

Your responsibility won’t just be assisting; you will be managing. We are looking for a sharp, proactive individual with at least 1+ years of administrative experience who can anticipate needs before they arise and ensure that the President’s focus remains on high-level strategy while you handle the tactical execution of the firm’s daily operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support & Coordination

  • Manage and prioritize the President's calendar, meetings, and communications
  • Serve as a professional liaison between leadership, clients, and external partners
  • Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve logistical challenges

Operations & Process Management

  • Lead the digitization and organization of firm records and filing systems
  • Maintain operational workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Support internal systems and documentation processes

Communication & Documentation

  • Draft, edit, and proofread professional correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Prepare materials for meetings, client interactions, and internal initiatives

Data & Administrative Management

  • Maintain and audit Excel spreadsheets and internal data systems
  • Ensure data accuracy across client records and operational documents
  • Manage office inventory, vendor coordination, and administrative logistics

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative, office management, or related experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, formatting, formulas) and Microsoft Word (mail merges, professional templates)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Preferred

  • Experience supporting executives or leadership teams
  • Experience with CRM systems or database management
  • Interest in business operations, management, or financial services

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour.

Performance Incentives: Potential for commission based on firm-wide goals.
