Patient Care Coordinator

Job description

Multi-facility and multi-doctor eye care practice in Manhattan and Queens area seeking a position as a Patient Care Coordinator/Administrator. We are looking for someone to bring high-energy and a positive attitude to join our dynamic office culture. Our mission is to provide a high-level concierge experience for all our patient's eye care needs.

Front Desk - Medical Administrator:

  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Knowledge of insurance verification, prior-authorization, and office coordination
  • Book Appointments
  • Verify Insurances – copays and deductibles
  • Obtain Prior-Authorizations/referrals for office procedures
  • Collect co-pays and deductibles

Attributes Valued:

  • Communication is key, cheerful personality, and accommodating nature
  • Applicant must be computer savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Taking Initiative
  • Bilingual is a plus +
