CPA Position
CPA - FULL TIME
Small Erie area firm has an immediate opening for an energetic certified public accountant, with a minimum of two to five years tax experience, to join our team-oriented firm. We are a long-established, well-respected firm with an interesting mix of loyal small business and individual tax clients. We prepare personal, corporate, estate and trust and non-profit tax returns. We also issue compiled, reviewed and audited financial statements, as well as provide payroll and consulting services. Our ideal candidate must possess good technical, marketing and people skills, must be capable of working independently, as well as in a team environment. QuickBooks and IT knowledge are a plus. Salary commensurate with experience. This position has great potential for growth and ownership in the firm.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare individual, business and estate tax returns
- Interface with government agencies regarding client issues and audits
- Prepare financial statements (compilation, review and audit)
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Assist clients with bookkeeping
- Provide business and tax consulting services
- Build and develop proficiency and technical competence through on-the-job training and continuing education programs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA license
- 2 - 5 years tax experience

SALARY RANGE
- $55,000 - $70,000
