Financial Services Associate

Job Title: Financial Services Associate 

Position Summary 

Clarity Financial Planning, a financial planning and wealth management firm, is seeking a Financial Service Associate to join our team. This is a full-time on-site role based in Coral Springs, FL.  

The Financial Services Associate supports a Financial Advisor and advisory team by preparing reports, managing administrative and operational tasks, and assisting with client service and plan implementation. This role is ideal for an individual pursuing a long-term career as a Financial Advisor who is developing technical, operational, and client-facing skills prior to obtaining required licenses. 

The position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, workload management, and high-quality client experience while gaining exposure to financial planning, insurance and investment strategies, and retirement plan services. 

Key Responsibilities 

Reporting & Planning Support 

Prepare client review materials, financial planning and analysis reports, and performance summaries 

Run financial illustrations, projections, and planning scenarios using approved software 

Assist with data gathering, plan updates, maintenance of client financial information and reporting of such 

Support preparation for client meetings and follow-up documentation 

Administrative & Operational Support 

Manage day-to-day administrative tasks for the advisor and team 

Maintain accurate client records and documentation in CRM and custodial systems 

Coordinate account paperwork, service requests, and internal processing 

Track tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups to ensure timely completion 

Retirement Plan & Group 401(k) Support 

Assist in managing group retirement plan administration and service requests 

Coordinate with plan sponsors, recordkeepers, and third-party administrators 

Support enrollment, contribution changes, reporting, and plan-related communications 

Help prepare participant materials and plan review summaries 

Provides educational services and meetings 

Client Service & Team Support 

Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries requiring operational or administrative assistance 

Triage client communications accordingly 

Collaborate closely with advisors and team members to support workflow and client experience 

Professional Development 

Learn firm planning philosophy, investment approach, compliance standards and product knowledge 

Participate in training and mentorship with the goal of progressing toward an advisor role 

Work toward obtaining industry licenses and designations, as applicable 

Qualifications 

Required 

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy 

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM and planning software a plus 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members 

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete projects independently, with a strong capacity to learn quickly and adapt to change 

Proven ability to adhere to compliance requirements and maintain confidentiality 

Interest in pursuing a career as a Financial Advisor 

Must pass fingerprinting & background check as FINRA requirements for employment 

Must disclose outside investments as broker requirements for employment 

Complete a pre-employment assessment to gage baseline knowledge 

Preferred 

Experience in financial services, wealth management, or retirement plan administration 

Familiarity with financial planning or investment concepts 

Proficiency in financial software and tools is a plus 

Experience supporting group retirement plans 

Progress toward or interest in future licensing (e.g., Series 65/66) 

Awareness and understanding of Cybersecurity practices to ensure data integrity and client information protection 

Career Path 

This role is designed as a developmental position, with the opportunity to grow into an Associate Advisor or Financial Advisor role upon demonstrated competency, experience, and completion of required licensing.
