JOB TITLE: Assistant Property Manager for Real Estate Development Company
SUMMARY:
Assistant Property Manager at 133 E Bonita Ave, San Dimas, CA 91773 by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Answering phone calls, filing invoices, ordering office supplies, maintaining clean office environment, serving notices to tenants, scheduling move-in and move-out with tenants, showing vacant units to perspective tenants.
Maintains verbal and written communications with tenants and maintenance personnel, regarding issues related to property, including utility companies and maintenance personnel.
Process maintenance requests during business hours. Requests are to be screened for accuracy, then solved via phone communication or scheduled and followed up for completion while maintaining communication with the tenant.
Input rent checks, run credit on prospective tenants, prepare rental agreements, prepare security deposit refunds after tenant move-out, handle tenant calls regarding repairs, complaints, issues, etc., handle evictions of tenants, submit tenant utility billing, post notices from Management Office.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Must have driver's license and access to vehicle for showing of vacant units, posting notices, weekly property checks, bank deposits, buying office supplies, running plans/documents to various city building departments.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIEINCE
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficient skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Property Management experience preferred
AppFolio experience preferred
Excellent Communication Skills
Experience in customer service related fields
Experience working in office environment
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to follow-through with schedule work orders/appointments making sure it is completed in a timely manner. Ability to carry out directions from office administrator as directed without distraction.
