Structural Designer
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Designer to join our team. You’ll contribute to the design and analysis of commercial building projects across a wide range of sectors, including civic/government, community recreation & wellness, education, healthcare, hospitality, housing, industrial, office, and retail.

We are hiring for our Madison, Janesville, Milwaukee, and Rockford offices.
Position Details & Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for commercial building projects using steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood systems.
- Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents in compliance with IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and other applicable standards.
- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients throughout all project phases.
- Assist with feasibility studies, and value engineering as needed.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to confirm existing conditions and observe construction progress.
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of structural building design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (ETABS, RISA, SAP2000, RAM, or similar).
- Working knowledge of Revit.
- Solid understanding of building codes, construction materials, and methods.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
