Acquisitions Intern
Position Overview
We are seeking a Multifamily Acquisitions Summer Intern to join our team from May–August 2026. This role is designed for highly motivated rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students pursuing degrees in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field who are interested in building a career in real estate investments.
The intern will work closely with members of the Acquisitions team and gain hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of multifamily investment transactions, including sourcing, underwriting, market analysis, and due diligence. This role provides a unique opportunity to participate in evaluating real estate investment opportunities and contributing to the firm’s acquisition pipeline.
What You’ll Work On
• Build and update financial underwriting models in Excel to evaluate potential multifamily acquisition opportunities.
• Analyze rent rolls, operating statements, and property-level financials to assess investment performance and identify value-creation opportunities.
• Prepare investment summaries, financial analyses, and supporting materials for internal investment committee discussions.
• Conduct market and submarket research including rent trends, supply pipeline, demographic trends, and competitive property analysis.
• Track multifamily properties currently marketed for sale and maintain a pipeline of potential acquisition opportunities.
• Assist with sourcing new investment opportunities through broker outreach, research, and market monitoring.
• Support the due diligence process by reviewing leases, financials, third-party reports, and other transaction materials.
• Participate in property tours and site visits for prospective acquisitions when available.
• Organize and maintain acquisition data rooms and assist in coordinating diligence materials.
• Collaborate with the acquisitions team to evaluate risk, return projections, and investment strategy for potential transactions.

Qualifications
• Rising junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in real estate investments and multifamily assets.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
