In person, Part-Time Digital Content and Community Engagement Coordinator
WCVI seeks a creative and community minded Part Time Digital Content and Community Engagement Coordinator to promote and document outreach efforts through engaging digital content.
This role will support the promotion of community events around clean energy outreach by creating short videos, photos, and social media posts that highlight the impact of our work.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, working with communities, and capturing authentic moments that reflect the impact of grassroots programs.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Content Creation
Create engaging short-form videos and photos for social media platforms
Develop social media posts that promote upcoming events and highlight program impact
Capture live content at community events including interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and participant experiences
Assist in editing videos and graphics for digital outreach
Community Outreach Support
Assist with outreach efforts to promote events and programs
Support promotion of events through social media and digital channels
Document the impact of community programs through digital storytelling
Conduct short interviews with participants, partners, and staff for social media use
Highlight community voices and experiences through digital platforms
Qualifications
Interest in community engagement, civic participation, or clean energy outreach
Experience creating social media content (video, photos, captions)
Comfortable filming short videos on a smartphone and editing simple content
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work evenings and weekends for community events
Ability to lift and transport event materials when needed
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
