What You'll Do 

As a District Executive, you’ll be part of a dynamic nonprofit team working to grow youth programs across the community. Your work will involve leadership, communication, relationship-building, and project management.

You will:

  • Work with a volunteer board and local business, civic, and community leaders
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers to deliver youth programs
  • Build relationships with schools, faith organizations, and community groups
  • Support local fundraising efforts and help secure resources for programs
  • Drive membership growth and engagement
  • Help plan and deliver events, camp activities, and community initiatives
  • Provide clear communication, customer service, and timely support to volunteers
  • Serve as a positive role model while promoting the values of Scouting America

Education 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Required)

  • Are enthusiastic, responsible, creative, and a strong team player
  • Can work independently and stay motivated
  • Want a career with purpose and opportunities to grow
  • Are 21 years of age or older (unless otherwise permitted by law)
  • Can travel for training 1–2 weeks per year
  • Are willing to uphold Scouting America’s leadership and membership standards

A Scouting background is helpful but not required.
