Campaign Intern/Volunteer

This is a part-time, temporary position based in the South Bay Area. As an Intern, you will assist in tabling, canvassing, placing signage, and other forms of campaign outreach. Your role may also include creating content, editing content, and managing and updating campaign social media accounts to enhance the candidate's online presence and engage voters. This hands-on role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in political campaigning and social media management. We expect about 5-10 hours of work per week toward this role, for at least three months.

Qualifications

• A passion for political campaigns and civic engagement
• Attention to detail and a creative approach to content creation, messaging, and amplification
• Proficiency in communication, including strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Project management abilities to coordinate social media strategies and meet deadlines
• Belief that we need reform our political system, and independent candidates are part of that.
