Preschool Assistant Teacher (Part-Time, Morning Hours)

Small Blessings Preschool is a warm, nurturing Christ-centered preschool serving children ages 2–5 in the heart of South Tampa. We are seeking caring, dependable educators who enjoy working with young children and want to be part of a positive, collaborative school community.

Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Encourage learning through play, creativity, and exploration
Skills & Qualities
- Warm, patient, and nurturing personality
- Dependable and professional attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Genuine enjoyment of working with young children
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience working with children (preferred)
- Interest in early childhood education or related field
- Ability to work in person in South Tampa
- Willingness to complete DCF training requirements if not already completed
Students studying education, child development, psychology, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
