AI Automation Builder Startup

NOTE: Compensation & Role Structure

This role follows a staged onboarding model designed to ensure strong technical alignment before long-term engagement:

Stage 1: Skill Validation Task

• Candidates will complete a short, clearly defined technical task
• This is used only to evaluate problem-solving ability and system thinking
• Tasks are limited in scope and not used in production systems

Stage 2: Project-Based Contractor Work

• Approved candidates will be brought on as independent contractors
• Compensation is provided per project, deployment, or contribution
• Work includes building AI assistants, automation workflows, and integrations

Stage 3: Long-Term Opportunity

• High-performing contributors may transition into ongoing roles
• Compensation may include commission, project-based pay, and eventually hourly or salaried structures as the company scales

Ascent Intelligence is an early-stage startup building AI automation systems for service businesses. We deploy AI across the front and back office to capture leads, answer calls, qualify customers, rebuild websites, and automate business workflows.

We are looking for a technically curious builder who wants to work directly on real AI systems used by businesses. You will help build and deploy AI assistants, automation workflows, and web systems.

This is a ground-level startup opportunity. Early contributors will work directly with the founder and help shape the systems and direction of the company.

Ideal candidates are interested in AI, automation, startups, and solving real operational problems for businesses.

Tools you may work with include AI assistants, automation platforms, APIs, and web technologies.

Strong performers may transition into a paid long-term role as the company grows.
