Communications Student Assistant
Working in Communications with the Communications Coordinator and Assistant Director of Media Relations, the Communications Student Assistant (average 8 hours per week for both semesters from September—December and February—May) will support metadata and digital asset management by organizing and archiving the division’s multi-media digital assets, which include photographs, scanned media, video assets, and other related materials. This opportunity provides practical experience working in a creative department and valuable insight into how creative content is stored, organized, and accessed across the museums. The student assistant must be available to work in-person at the museums to participate in training for the museum’s Digital Asset Management System and to access the COMM video archives. This position is open to Harvard and non-Harvard undergraduate and graduate students. The ideal candidate is independent, organized, efficient, and detail oriented. Proficiency with Excel is a must-have skill. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus but not required. This opportunity is open to Harvard and non-Harvard undergraduate and graduate students.
