Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer

Role Summary: You are the guardian of our digital perimeter and the architect of our automated delivery pipelines. You own the "Master Keys" to our cloud environment, ensuring tight control. Beyond traditional DevOps, you will own the infrastructure for SaaS licensing and usage-based billing—ensuring our revenue telemetry is 100% accurate, secure, and compliant.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue & Licensing: Build and maintain the infrastructure for SaaS metering and entitlement
enforcement. Partner with the Lead Software Engineer to ensure 100% data integrity for
    usage-based billing.
  • Observability: Establish full-stack monitoring (Azure Monitor/Datadog) for real-time
visibility into system health and revenue-critical data flows.
  • Access Control & The "Master Keys": Manage all cloud environments (Azure/Google) and
    administrative permissions.
  • Automated CI/CD Pipelines: Build the automated "conveyor belt" that moves code from the
Architect’s blueprints to production, removing manual toil for the offshore team.
  • Compliance: Lead the technical implementation for SOC II and GDPR, including automated
    security scanning and audit logging.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

Technical Qualifications

  • Cloud Mastery: 6+ years in DevOps/Infrastructure with expert-level Azure proficiency (VPCs, IAM,
    Serverless).
  • Containers: Expert at writing efficient Dockerfiles and managing Azure Container Apps or App
    Service for Containers.
  • CI/CD: Expert in Azure DevOps / Azure Pipelines (Docker@2 tasks, Git triggers, multi-stage
    release gates).
  • Data Integrity: Proven experience building "exactly-once" delivery pipelines; familiarity with SaaS
    billing platforms
  • The Stack: Practical experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and secret management
    (Azure Key Vault).
  • Compliance: Deep familiarity with building infrastructure that meets SOC II and GDPR standards.

Core Skills

  • Automation-First: A "tech-head" passion for automating everything from patches to backups.
  • Security-First: You view security as a foundational feature, not an obstacle.
  • Composure: Calm and analytical during high-stakes outages or security incidents.
