Visual Marketing and Retail Merchandise Design
Job description:
We are looking for a passionate and creative visual merchandiser and packaging presentation stylist who naturally engages with customers and creates a WOW experience.
Requirements
- 1-2 years retail experience experience.
- Must demonstrate experience with creative gift wrapping and presentation.
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including weekends, and/or holidays.
- Works well independently as well as part of a team and is able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store.
- May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job functions.
- Ability to operate Square POS systems.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic and efficient team and can easily shift in a new direction.
- Strong organizational, written communication, and interpersonal skills required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Solid work ethic and positive attitude while working under tight deadlines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Responsibilities
- Develop brand aligned packaging and presentation creatively with attention to detail, accuracy, and in a timely manner.
- Review daily online orders coming through website and social media.
- Wrap and package items to be shipped to customers.
- Replenishes packaging and presentation supplies developing new standards.
- Engage in multiple clients and create a positive experience by offering personalized service.
- Engage with clients and suggest additional merchandise.
- Promote additional services (design services).
- Maintain visual standards and supplies of the gift wrap and cash wrap area.
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 25lbs.
