Resilience Fellowship

Resilience Fellowship Program

Are you passionate about creating resilient and equitable communities in the face of climate change? Greenbelt Alliance is now accepting applications for two transformative fellowship opportunities.
The Resilience Fellowship Program at Greenbelt Alliance provides emerging leaders with hands-on experience at the intersection of climate resilience, community engagement, and equitable planning across the San Francisco Bay Area. Through paid fellowships, students and early-career professionals support real-world climate adaptation projects while developing practical skills in outreach, policy research, communications, and program development.

Fellows work alongside Greenbelt Alliance staff and regional partners on initiatives such as shoreline adaptation planning, climate justice engagement, and community resilience programs. These experiences help fellows build professional networks, deepen their understanding of climate impacts in frontline communities, and contribute to solutions that protect both people and ecosystems.

These 4-6 month hybrid positions offer resume-building experience for early-career professionals, recent graduates, and students eager to drive real climate solutions in the Bay Area.
