Investment Associate Intern
We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Associate Intern to join our investment team from April through September. This role provides hands-on exposure to growth-stage investing and a new funding model - media for equity, working closely with the investment team on sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct industry and market research to identify emerging investment opportunities and trends
- Perform financial analysis, including building and reviewing financial models, valuation analyses (comps, precedent transactions, DCF), and scenario analysis
- Support commercial and financial due diligence for potential investments
- Assist in preparing investment committee materials, presentations, and internal memos
- Analyze company financials, operating metrics, and competitive positioning
- Contribute to portfolio monitoring and strategic analysis for existing investments
- Support deal execution processes, including data room review and coordination with external advisors
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, economics, business, or related field
- Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, or corporate finance preferred
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar) is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deal-oriented environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
