Sales for Test Prep Company

So many people want to become licensed surveyors, but few understand the steps needed to become a PLS efficiently. In this role, you are tasked with advising individuals and survey firms on how to become a Professional Land Surveyor in terms of education, experience, and testing requirements, and explaining which NLC Prep products can help them achieve their PLS goals.

Key Results Area #1 – Have Expert Knowledge in Survey Licensing Requirements

  • Maintain strong knowledge, based on memory and not consulting written sales playbooks, of NCEES FS and PS exam structure, scoring, specifications, and CBT format.
  • Be able to find and explain licensing and exam requirements for becoming a PLS in all 50 states

Key Results Area #2 – Know the NLC Prep Product Catalog

  • Know the types of products NLC Prep sells (statutes, calculators, courses, HCPEs, etc.)
  • Know the states that NLC Prep currently offers products for, and any planned upcoming offerings
  • Know how NLC Prep’s lead generation and lead conversion systems operate and uphold NLC Prep’s honesty and helpfulness operating principles

Key Results Area #3 – Take Inbound 15-Minute Study Chat Calls

  • Listen to student info about education, experience, and prep status
  • Offer NLC Prep products based on individualized student needs
  • Generate a custom study plan for each student and send it to them after each call
  • Follow up with students to ensure they understand what to do next to become licensed
  • Know the common reasons for “no” and provide a canned response for each of the top five reasons

Key Results Area #4 – Answer Inbound Student LC Desk Tickets

  • Read Zoho Desk tickets from current students
  • Reply with helpful answers and funnel students to a Study Chat
  • Take 15-minute calls sent to you by the lead generation team; advise individuals on how to get licensed, review diagnostics, and provide feedback on individual study plans.

Key Results Area #5 – Follow-up with Outbound Leads

  • Receive outbound leads from free previews, free resources, etc.
  • Nurture prospective students by sending emails with the goal of generating interest/booking a Study Chat

Key Results Area #6: Revenue Generator

  • Forecast and hit monthly goals set by the Vice President of NLC Prep

Work Location: Remote
