The firm serves both institutional and high-net-worth individuals throughout the United States.  We offer portfolio management strategies encompassing large- and small-capitalization U.S. stocks as well as non-U.S. securities.  The firm employs 19 professionals and has approximately $3.5 billion in assets under management

 

 

About the opportunity:

The Client Services/Performance and Portfolio Specialist is an integral part of the firm.  Utilization of various software products and quantitative techniques are vital components of the position.  This role interacts regularly with key personnel in every department as well as with outside clients, which makes it a unique opportunity to gain broad knowledge of the investment management industry. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with Portfolio Managers and Operations team to implement periodic changes in portfolio holdings
  • Assure consistency in portfolio holdings and structure across client accounts
  • Assist in the generation of internal performance attribution reports
  • Assist in the calculation of performance for client portfolios and the generation of reports
  • Assist in ongoing data collection and management for the firms proprietary quantitative models

 

 

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or other related field 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to multi-task and prioritize job responsibilities
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and Adobe Acrobat; ability to learn other systems/programs
  • Ability to think quickly and make timely and correct decisions
  • Ability to work well with a team as well as independently when needed
