Portfolio Administrator

The Opportunity

The Portfolio Administrator is a critical part of our Operations team.  This position functions as a liaison between our clients’ financial advisors and our Investment and Trading teams, making it a fantastic opportunity to get an in-depth look at the investment industry. 

 

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reconciliation of transactions and holdings
  • Process client cash flow needs and inform appropriate investment personnel as required
  • Set up and maintain client account information 
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

 

Education, Skills, Personal Characteristics and Work Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (will also consider Associate’s Degree with equivalent experience)
  • Knowledge of securities (Stocks, Mutual Funds, ETF’s & Bonds) would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in Financial Investment Management would be beneficial
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to resolve problems independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Strong customer service and communication skills due to the constant interaction between departments and outside contacts
