Architectural Graduates Pursuing Licensure – Utah Office
GSBS Architects is an award-winning, inter-disciplinary design firm with a collaborative culture that supports career growth and advancement within the firm.
We have openings, in our Salt Lake City Office, for architecture graduates with 0 to 3 years of experience and strong design sensibility. A professional degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program is required.
Competencies include:
- Creative and critical thinking about design problems and solutions
- Organization and communication skills
- Collaborating with project teams
- Demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness
- Preparing design studies and presentations using various tools and techniques
- Assisting in producing technical models and construction drawings
- Working in Revit, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and familiarity with Dynamo, Enscape, Rhino, Lumion, and Bluebeam.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform design layout for architectural elements and features of projects
- Create background and baseline reference materials for projects
- Prepare presentation materials at various phases of design
- Research, compile and record information related to elements of the design solution for use in design documents and specifications
- Produce building information models and construction documents
- Attain mastery of GSBS standards and procedures for documentation and design documentation software.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and profit-sharing bonuses. Salary is competitive and dependent upon experience.
